OUR OBJECTIVES
Financial literacy – Our Campaigns will “guide” and provide information on matters pertaining to money, e.g. banking/investment product selection; how to optimize the saving and investment of money through Stokvels and Burial Schemes as well as exploring the rich history
Information sharing – informative angles providing the market sector participants with intellectual/academic and social stimulation
Problem solving and Value – focus on the challenges related to Investment opportunities for Stokvels and premiums for Burial Societies, the highlights and challenges, at the same time finding solutions to improve the Stokvels and Burial Societies as well as their members
Community Building – contributing to the continued development and uplifting of communities through platforms and instruments familiar to the communities
Informed Decision making – ensuring that improved financial decisions are made from a knowledge base, thereby minimizing risks such as unauthorized and illegal funeral insurance providers as well as pyramid schemes

Activation's
Since 2015 the Stokvels and Burial Societies Indaba has been a platform for stakeholders to engage, share information and find solutions to challenges related to the sector Interactive sessions are designed to address important issues faced by Stokvel and Burial Society members as well as other stakeholders – with the main deliverable being information sharing Editions of the Stokvel and Burial Society Indaba covered topics such as “Group Constitutions”, “Legal status”, “Investment opportunities”, “Choosing the right product for your needs”.
The program ends with a session where participating Stokvel and Burial Society representatives has an opportunity to interact with industry stakeholders.
The Stokvels and Burial Societies Indaba 2019 comprised a Road Show hosted in four (4) Provinces – Gauteng; Limpopo; North West and the Free State The Television Platform – KE ZAKA™ – and our established network were used to optimize Stokvels and Burial Society member participation at the Roadshow These events were used primarily to create a trust relationship with the Stokvels and Burial Societies whilst enhancing and validating the database of key decision makers in Stokvels and Burial Societies For aspirational purposes, conference venues were used for the events

Stokvels and Burial Societies form an important part of the fabric of South African communities…it is time to acknowledge this phenomenon…and contribute to its continued growth!

Ke Zaka seeks to empower Stokvels and Burial Societies members through information sharing. The show assists the participating groups and members towards their desired objectives. The support and assistance is through the provision of relevant and related subject matter experts. The presenter and expert assist the group and its members reach their desired objective through reliable and credible information. This intervention also assists the thousands of viewers at home who watch the series.
Each week Ke Zaka introduces us to a new group, through its members. We find out about their lives and the group they belong to. As part of the profile, we explore the successes, gains as well as challenges the group has faced. Ke Zaka then continues to explore the groups next wish to get to the next level. This is where Ke Zaka provides assistance to the group. Depending on their goals and objectives, Ke Zaka, together with the group, agree on the required intervention through the assistance of a relevant expert and or authority – solving a problem and taking the next level.
Ke Zaka documents struggles and innovation in the face of obstacles and financial opportunity. These are real-life inspiring and compelling stories about groups of people who harness financial literacy to make their lives better. The series travels: covering diverse demographics, socio/economic circumstances and rural/urban locations. Although deeply rooted in South African culture, these traditions respond to contemporary aspirations and opportunities. From renovating a home, to investing in the JSE, to buying a holiday house by the sea: Ke Zaka taps into our nations’ aspirational zeal.
